Spain defeated Russia 1ā0 and drew 1ā1 with Greece, but failed to get the draw they needed against Portugal to proceed to the knock out stages.Ā IƱaki SĆ”ezĀ was sacked weeks later and replaced byĀ Luis AragonĆ©s.
