On 1 November, after Ronaldo took nearly three weeks to recover from COVID-19, he returned to action against Spezia where he came off the bench in the second half and scored within the first three minutes.
On 2 March 2021, he scored a goal in a 3ā0 win over Spezia in his 600th league match, to become the first player to score at least 20 goals over 12 consecutive seasons in the top five leagues of Europe.
